Richard Family Assistant is a private family operations assistant used by the Colares family. It is not a public product and is not offered for use by third parties.

This Privacy Policy explains how the assistant may access, use, and protect information when supporting school communications, calendar support, reminders, travel logistics, and parent briefings.

2. Google User Data Access

With explicit authorization from the Google account owner, Richard Family Assistant may access limited Google user data for private family operations, including:

• Gmail messages and metadata needed to identify and summarize relevant school and family communications.
• Google Calendar events needed to check schedules, identify conflicts, and prepare reminders.

The assistant requests only the Google access needed for these private family purposes.

3. How Google User Data Is Used

Google user data is used only to:

• Summarize relevant school and family emails.
• Classify parent actions such as forms, payments, items to bring, dates to remember, or decisions needed.
• Check calendar availability and identify possible conflicts.
• Prepare reminders and parent briefings.
• Create or update calendar events only when explicitly approved by a parent.

Google user data is not used for advertising, marketing, resale, or unrelated product development.

4. Data Sharing

Google user data is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties.

Information may be processed by infrastructure and service providers used to operate the private assistant, solely for the purpose of providing the requested family operations support.

5. Data Storage and Security

Access tokens and operational data are stored only as needed to provide the private assistant service. Reasonable safeguards are used to protect the information from unauthorized access.

The assistant does not store Google account passwords.

6. Data Retention

Google user data is retained only as long as needed for private family operations, troubleshooting, auditability, or reminders requested by the family.

The Google account owner may request deletion of stored operational data at any time.

7. Revoking Access

The Google account owner can revoke Richard Family Assistant's access at any time through Google's account permissions page:

8. Limited Use Disclosure

Richard Family Assistant's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
